Jobs, Careers, Workshops, Etc. for Seniors

Seniors, if you have not already done so, please complete your college applications and bring them to the guidance office ASAP. Some deadlines have already passed—check with the colleges. When you bring your applications to the guidance office, we will send your applications and transcripts for you. If you apply online you will need to let us know where to send your transcripts. You should also check with the financial aid offices of the colleges to find out about scholarships that might be available at individual colleges.

Summer Jobs

Pre applications for summer jobs for Muscogee County youths ages 16-21 will be taken at the Columbus Career Center, located at 700 Veterans Parkway on Monday through Friday between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. No applications will be taken from students during school hours. No exceptions!

Workshops

The Tuskegee University Department of Nursing is accepting applications for the 2008 ACT/SAT Workshop. The workshop is open to all rising 11th and 12th grade students. There is no registration fee. The workshop will be held on June 2 & 3, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Students are required to provide their own transportation each day. Students are also required to provide their own lunch, snacks, and other personal expenses. Applications are available in the guidance office. The deadline to apply is 5-27-08.
