History of the Kendrick High School facility
- Kendrick is one of seven large high schools in Columbus, Georgia.
- Built in 1967 located in a sparsely populated suburb on the east side of the city, Kendrick was first called Eastside High.
- The original structure consisted of 46 classrooms with 58 professional staff members and an enrollment of 1,253.
- The auditorium and a vocational wing were completed in 1976.
- Kendrick now has 72 classrooms with
- Five Business & Information Technology Education computer labs
- One Graphic Arts lab
- One Drafting & Design lab
- One Academic Computer lab
- One IMac-equipped Reading and Writing lab
