(3/20/2008) KENDRICK MUSIC DEPARTMENT ACHIEVES "ALL SUPERIOR" RATINGS A truly amazing, wonderful feat has been accomplished by the Kendrick High School Music Department. Every music ensemble at Kendrick (Band, Orchestra, and Chorus) have all received "ALL" SUPERIOR RATINGS. This includes both stage performance and sight reading. After speaking with music teachers who were here at Kendrick in the 80's and 90's, we have learned that this is the first time in at least 28 years that every ensemble at Kendrick has received all superiors ratings at our evaluations. It is possible that it could be the first time in Kendrick's history that this has happened. LADY CHEROKEES BASKETBALL TEAM IS NUMBER ONE! The Kendrick Lady Cherokees defeated the Monroe Area team on Friday night in the Georgia AAA state championship semi-final game, then went on to win over the Carrollton Lady Trojans 79-67 on Saturday night in the Macon Centraplex.
