Some of the sites are for reference and some are provided to provide easier access to college and financial aid information. ![]() The Rotary Club of Columbus honored Muscogee County STAR Students and Teachers at their Club meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009. The Kendrick STAR student is Desha Golatt and she selected Lisa Cheatham to be the STAR teacher. The STAR student is the senior with the highest SAT score. On Tuesday, May 12th, the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer held the 34th Annual Page One Awards ceremony at the Rivercenter. Laketa Lewis won the Career and Technology first place award. Page One recognizes the Chattahoochee Valley’s most outstanding high school seniors in 13 categories. She received a trophy and a $1000 award. Congratulations to Laketa for her success. KENDRICK STUDENT ACCELERATES CAREER WITH DUAL ENROLLMENT AT COLUMBUS TECHNICAL COLLEGE Robert Myrick is getting a head-start on his career by enrolling in dual enrollment classes at Columbus Technical College. Read about Robert and his career plans. HONORS AWARDS GIVEN ON TUESDAY, MAY 5th The annual Honors Awards ceremony was held on Tuesday, May 5th in the KHS Auditorium. SKILLSUSA WINS AT STATE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE The Kendrick SkillsUSA chapter had several winners at the State Leadership COnference and will travel to Kansas City in June for the National Leadership Conference to compete nationally. JUNIORS AND SENIORS PARTICIPATE IN CAREER EXPO (Oct. 16, 2008) On Oct. 15 while freshmen and sophomores were taking the PSAT, the juniors and seniors participated in a career expo. KENDRICK IS 40 YEARS OLD!!!! Kendrick High School opened the doors in September, 1967 as Eastside High School and then the name was changed in 1968 to Thomas Kendrick High School. We will be kicking off an Alumni Association so that alumni can keep in touch with one another and with what's happening at their alma mater. KENDRICK ALUMNI PAGE COMING SOON Kendrick High School alumni will soon have a page of their own. We have had contact with alumnus from 20 to 30 years ago who are having reunions.
